General Information and Field Outings:

The Missouri Mycological Society (MOMS) has established its field headquarters at Tyson Research Center. Opportunities for research, meetings and "mushroom walks" are available. Please contact Maxine Stone or Brad Bomanz for more information.

Joint mushroom walks or "forays" with MOMS and the Friends of Tyson (FOT) have occurred at Tyson at least once a year from 2000 to 2004. A "master" list of fungi species documented from these forays is located on the Tyson Fungi list.

The next foray is scheduled for Sunday, June 26, 2005, at 12:00 noon.
