There are three major areas of research in the lab:

1. The evolution of weedy rice - this project deals with the origin and evolution of weedy rice (also called red rice) in the USA.

3. Cyanogenesis in white clover - this project deals with the molecular evolution of genes controlling cyanogenesis in white clover.
