My research addresses questions regarding the evolutionary diversification of species and populations. In particular I am interested in how historical and contemporary facors and processes combine to yield geographic variation in organismal traits. To do this I use phylogenetics, population genetics, morphometrics, functional, and ecological studies of Caribbean lizards. I am also involved in collaborative projects studying evolutionary adaptation in the live-bearing fish genus, Gambusia.
