Clocksclub
Clocksclub is a journal club that discusses recent advances in
the study of biological timing. Semi monthly meetings are
coordinated by the labs of
Erik Herzog (Biology),
Russ Van
Gelder
(Ophthalmology),
Paul Taghert
(
Anatomy and Neurobiology),
Lou Muglia
(Pediatrics),
Paul Gray
(
Anatomy and Neurobiology)
and Paul Shaw
(
Anatomy and Neurobiology).
To receive announcements on the
Clocksclub mailing list, send your name and Email to
Erik Herzog.

Past Tutorials
Entrainmentis the process by which an oscillator synchronizes to a
periodic input, like how we sync to the daily light-dark cycle. This
tutorial, aimed at students of biological timing who wish to explore the
various models of how circadian pacemakers entrain to daily cues, starts
with classic readings by Colin Pittendrigh. We will meet in the same place
and time as Clocksclub.
