I am currently a research technician working on the longleaf pine restoration project at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. I am interested in forest research, especially the impacts of past events and humans on the composition and structure of a forest. I graduated from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC in 2008 with a B.S. in Biology and concentration in Environmental Science. I conducted my senior research on edge effects and how they impact forest structure and communities. Since graduating I have worked as an ecology intern for the Smithsonian Institute and as a field technician at Camp Edwards, MA. I hope to continue my education and pursue a Master's or Ph.D. degree.
