I am a research technician at the Savannah River Site in South Carolina where I am contributing to a project assessing the effects of  seed predation on longleaf pine savanna understory plant community restoration.  My research interests fall broadly into the fields of conservation biology and community ecology, especially restoration, invasion, apparent competition, and ornithology. I received my B.A. in Biology and Environmental Studies from Carleton College in 2009 and plan to attend graduate school in ecology within the next several years.
