I am a Ph.D. student in Debbie Finke's lab at the University of Missouri-Columbia. I completed my undergraduate degree in biological sciences at North Carolina State University and then began studying the effects of habitat fragmentation at the Savannah River Site (SRS) in Aiken, SC in Ellen Damschen's lab. During my time there, I conducted an independent study that focused on seed dispersal. I quantified seed rain using seed traps and am now using these data to determine how habitat fragmentation and connectivity affect seed dispersal by the wind and by birds.
