I am a research technician at the Savannah River Site in South Carolina. I work with postdoc Cathy Collins collecting data for a longleaf pine restoration project funded by the Strategic Environmental Research Program (SERDP). Broadly speaking, my research interests are in applied ecology and conservation biology. I am particularly interested in forest research that can better inform our land conservation and management practices. I recently graduated from Colby College with a B.A. in Biology and Environmental Studies, and I hope to continue studying ecology at graduate school in the near future. |
